Privacy Policy

KickSplat ("we", "us") operates kicksplat.com — an online store, gym management software, and related services. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we handle it, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

• Shop customers: name, email, phone, shipping address, and order history. Payment is made by bank transfer; we do not store card numbers.
• Gym members (via participating gyms): name, contact details, date of birth, emergency contacts, waiver acceptance, attendance, grading history and, where you or your gym provide it, health information relevant to safe training (for example injuries or medical conditions).
• Minors: where a member is under 18, we collect guardian details and guardian consent. Guardians may contact us at any time about their child's information.
• Website: standard technical logs (IP address, browser) for security and troubleshooting.

Health information

Injury records, medical clearances, and similar documents are sensitive information. They are collected only with consent, used solely so your gym can train you safely, stored in access-restricted folders, and visible only to authorised staff at your gym.

How we use it

• To fulfil and ship orders, and to contact you about them
• To operate gym memberships: check-ins, class bookings, gradings, and billing
• To meet safety and legal obligations (for example incident records)
• To send updates you have opted in to — you can unsubscribe at any time

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers needed to run the platform (hosting, email, payment processing) and where the law requires.

Storage and security

Data is stored on Australian-hosted servers. We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, and role-based access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will notify affected people of any eligible data breach as required by law.

Access and correction

You can request a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to records we must keep) by emailing punch@kicksplat.com. Gym members can also update most details through their member portal or their gym's front desk.

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your information, contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
